“Scottie is a silent leader. Always composed and confident. Not easily shaken. Reliable! You can always count on him with the game on the line,” this said by a teammate of the Southbeach Outlaw’s 27yr old, 5’8, 200lb quaterback from San Leandro High School, and Cal Poly University graduate, Scottie Cordier. The former Contra Costa Razorback and Bay Area Nole is going on his fourth season with Southbeach. “It’s a privilige and honor to be able to play football with the caliber of men on the team. I am thankful I was asked to come back and play the past three seasons. The best part about being with Southbeach, is playing on team with a group of men I consider my friends.” When asked about advice to the “new recruits”, the very humble quarterback says, “If you truly love the sport and competition, come earn a spot at the Beach.” His greatest accomplishment in semi pro is winning the 2014 PCFL championship and says he only wants to be remembered as “earning respect from my teammates.” The ever humble qb is the first to give credit to someone else, he plays not for himself, but for the team as a whole. He strives for nothing more, than to bring that W home, not for himself, but his teammates. Scottie Cordier is the true definition of a “teammate”, and an integral assett to the Southbeach Outlaws.
